The youngest of 6 brothers began his career in the 1980s as a stage singer and joined in a group of Sinar Remaja Malay orchestras. At that time, Evie used the stage name Uce Arifina. His orchestra group not only performed in Tasikmalaya, but also to Bandung. Until one day Muchtar B, a famous dangdut songwriter who was also a producer, heard the characteristic of his voice that was so soft and sweet. Long story short, Evie, who at that time was still using her stage name, entered the recording kitchen in 1986-1987 to work on her first album entitled Sesuap Nasi. This album itself consists of 10 songs. 5 songs were the result of Muchtar B, the creator and producer himself.
